Veil showcases Smit’s masterful fusion between the use of Classical art techniques and a profound exploration of the hidden aspects of our existence. This new series of oil paintings and collection of bronze sculptures illustrates the theme - the veiled - the unseen world that exists just beyond the grasp of our physical senses. Offering a harmonious dialogue between painting and sculpture, Smit's mastery in translating his artistic vision across various mediums is once again exemplified in this show.
